There's plenty of other language in each canton (country subdivision). There would be like 20 languages at least if we count each modification of German, French, or Italien, each part of the canton use specific argot. I would not count Bolze has a language because of that. Like patois vaudois, patois fribourgeois, valaisan, etc.

I have talking to people and we exchanged postal card (QSL card), that confirm each communication, quality, etc.

That was a lot of fun, each country contacted. The far you go, the more you are happy :)

I'd much rather live in a world where we can share things without paid somethings, where people contribute not split information where everyone is copying each other.

90% of work, data copied on Internet have no value. Dunno why we need to pay for Clickbait article, or article without value or translated article (EN->FR)

You can't compare Magic the Gathering with loot boxes or maybe only the online version of that game. If you play MTG, you own a real card...

If you run facing a Lion you will probably die first. It's a bad tactics. I wouldn't run, and I don't "run" against ads.

Spam me with that ads and this will result of hate and I will choose another supplier. A great example of this is with the ads of "Carglass" the ads is so stupid and so massive that I have decide that if my windshield break, I will call them and tell them that because of their massive ads I will choose another compagny.

Add value to your compagny / product and I will buy it. Focus on value added not ads.

> if my windshield break, I will call them and tell them that because of their massive ads I will choose another compagny.

No you won't. This is the hubris of someone typing a reply from a comfortable place (much like road rage perpetrators mostly would never be so aggressive, but they're in their familiar little metal box and disconnected from their adversary).

If your windshield breaks and needs replacing by the side of the road and it's cold and wet and you just want to get home, are you going to spend time researching who can come a fix your windshield, or are you going to pick the first brand that pops into your head?

> or are you going to pick the first brand that pops into your head?

The cheapest.

If I don't do research (read reviews or word of mouth) I often end up buying crap. Especially when emotions are tense. So I end up buying the cheapest, and reading a review (or indeed ask around) when I got more free time.

I wouldn't buy the brand which pops up in my mind, heck I got no clue which windshield brands exist.

It's hard to stay mad that long.

Back when they first starting running ads before movies, even before the 20 minutes of trailers, I was ready to rage quit. "I'm paying money to see ads?!"

The first ad was Mt. Dew and I silently vowed, "never to drink it again, you bastards!"

Now I'm down to 6 cans a day, so that's showing 'em.

A real hacker can fix is car, paint that wall, and can code too.

There is no problem painting for me and many others who know how to use their hand.

Is amazing when you talk to people and they are like: Did you do that? How do you know how to do that?

Learn, try and you can do anything. As people did at every step.

The hardest part is knowing when it is a better use of your time to hire someone else to do it for you.

You can just follow all the same steps as you usually do:

1. Define the problem.

2. Determine the desired outcome.

3. Measure the existing state.

4. Note the foreseeable failure modes.

5. Plot the path from existing state to desired outcome as a series of reasonable steps, avoiding the failure modes.

6. Recursively analyze the steps, breaking them down into smaller steps if necessary.

7. Rework your plan as additional failure modes become evident.

In my experience, yes, you can do anything, as long as you ignore costs. You can't, for instance, justify buying a specialized tool to finish just one job. The hardest part is really step 2.

>You can't, for instance, justify buying a specialized tool to finish just one job

You must be new to DIY :)

I'm ok with the philosophy but I don't think a web browser (any of them) need to receive this amount of money. It's a simple web browser. We don't need other special features, just a simple fast browser. I'm currently making my own text based browser, I hate how many pictures, spam that I get when I only care about the text.

This must be a message from 1995 :-))

The problem is not only with security, ok it's the first problem but there's plenty of device that can't do any job right now, event if I want use that mobile for a diy like camera, etc. most of the software no is no more compatible. I don't understand why we go so fast on the new device when the majority won't use that damn new API, and all these gadget UI are so damn useless. Like hearthstone, why didn't you optimize your game for less device do you really need to do a animation if my device don't support it? just don't display it!

no need to have Alzheimer to see these poor old guy / women that can't do anything. We should die sooner, waste less resource and enjoy more.

You've been posting a lot of uncivil and unsubstantive comments. Could you please take a look at the guidelines and start following them?

I've never understood this degenerate self-loathing that exists within the environmental scene.

It's completely toxic to the green movement.

There are some people would would like to die. There are many who get true enjoyment from life well into their 90s.

What would you suggest?

Don't extend life...we discovered these things because we are older and older. I don't think that the solution is getting older. Don't know why I'm always getting down vote too. Life and his mystery.

What about the elderly people who don't have problems?

It's not because everybody is using it, that the tools is ok. It's like everybody is playing LoL, are LoL great? Doubt so, but it's like playing it because everybody play it.

You have mail, if people can't contact you without facebook, then the problem is not you, but the users. Like for example a friends won't join discord because it own is own chat server, yes like I want a tool by friends. I just ignore him he always wanted that I adopt his solution.

It's a combination of people being there AND having a bunch of related tools (mainly of importance to me, groups, events and comments for events). E-Mail is inconvenient for most things I use messenger for.
