There is some in my local supermarket, in France, as well as a few other brands. I don't think it's difficult to find anywhere. Edit - looks like in Europe we usually have a Thai brand, while in the US it's mostly the interviewed guy's brand. I never paid attention, I don't like it anyway.

Probably Sambal Olek chili paste is what you're referring to. It's my other favorite "not really that hot but yummy" hot sauce.

For hot sauce, I don't bother with anything under 100k SHU (tobasco for breakfast, however)
