I can understand not enjoying an LLM taking over the fun problem solving aspect of programming, I've felt that before. Maybe the same is true for some people when it comes to acting as a manager for an LLM but for me it's the opposite. I truly dislike managing other people for lots of reasons but I really enjoy managing LLMs. Maybe that's because I'm not interested in mentoring but I do enjoy building the processes that guide LLM dev work.
