Isn't "rage bait" just a longer way of saying "trolling"? Or is there some subtle different I'm not aware of? Is it "trolling trying to piss people off a lot"?

I miss the days of YHBT, when falling for bait was seen as a bad thing to do.

Now a lot of social media is just taking the bait, and then throwing a fit / acting out in an endless cycle :(

I expected an idiotic thing like "67" or something similar, but it's literally the term "rage bait". Not sure if feeling trolled or amused.
