"Permanently pause" - eh?

In discussing the current enforcement of immigration laws, I often hear it claimed that it is only about illegal immigration, because illegal immigrants are lawbreakers. They do not object to legal immigration.

I've always found that hard to believe, because it would be easy to reduce illegal immigration by increasing legal immigration, and we don't do that.

This suggests that my skepticism was warranted.

Wonder how this kind of statement will affect HN recruiting and staffing? Money is rather mobile, and dislikes disorder.

All those tempted to collaborate with American invaders should take note.
