My NAS is a Raspberry Pi 4 with a USB hub and WD Portable Hard drives plugged into the USB hub. I run Ubuntu 64 and Samba on it. It has been working fine for 5 years now. I am impressed by how reliable Raspberry Pi 4 and Ubuntu are.
