This is a decent write-up; my only regret is that it doesn't go into more detail. I installed Omakub yesterday on a ThinkPad (I haven't jumped on the Framework wagon yet), but it was really a treat. Omakub is opinionated and doesn't pretend not to be opinionated. Also, while test driving the configuration, at almost every turn I said to myself, "Yes, this is the way this should be done and this is what I need to be using." I think that's at least partly because this project is not absolutist in terms of open source: the driving consideration is what developers actually need and use the most.
The Omakub manual is a great source of documentation: https://manual.omakub.org/
