Momentum is what keeps the people I know who use Windows, on Windows. They won't shell out for a Mac not knowing if they'll like it (or explicitly not liking it -- a more common feeling with certain kids these days?).

It's really Microsoft's game to lose the desktop market, and between the odd UI choices of Win11, it seems like they're losing the plot a bit.
