well, all I can tell you is that from looking at the logs, there are a lot of people out there who are searching for someone with common interests that they must not be finding through normal channels. I'm especially seeing it with people overseas -- that was a surprise for me. I think that is a strong indicator that YCombinator has large overseas following.
