I recently flew on United from Chicago to Amsterdam. I didn't show my boarding pass to get on the plane, instead they used facial recognition. My question is, how do they know it is me? If they are using my government issued id, how is it that a private company got access to that information? If they are using something else, how reliable is it that it is me?
