The "Hall of Human Origins" at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. has a collection of hominim head sculptures titled "Meet your ancestors" [0]. They're definitely in the uncanny valley - super interesting to look at, but up close they're so lifelike and "almost human" that they're definitely a bit unsettling.
