And I thought I was joking when I kept saying that Google uses Machine Learning!(tm) for everything... Edit: on further thinking, the last problem about needing login info for an app that doesn't have accounts is probably due to some poor soul on minimum wage trying to make their review quota for the day.

Parsing text is not machine learning. It's the lack of machine learning thats causing the issues IMO. Because this system just flags everything with the word free in it.
