I always disable images in my mail client for privacy reasons. Also: if someone wants your IP address for whatever reason, they can embed a 1x1 pixel that gets triggered upon the email being opened. Just disable images, they are not even needed and a message can be communicated better with text anyway.

True. My post makes this a bit 'more real' for some people.
