In UK/US (probably many other countries) issue is that those that many who are even wealthier for similar kind of income pay less taxes than nurses on $30,000 a year, because they know how to hide income in number of tax loopholes made just for them. On top of that government gives them not just tax reliefs, but additional cash so they can invest and on top of that banks give them much better terms for credit...
