Ask HN: Wikipedia for screen readers?
1 point by chronogram on May 29, 2019 | hide | past | favorite | 2 comments
It's the Christian holidays and my glasses broke. I have a tough time reading the search engines, and using the iOS screen reader spends about half of the time saying "1. 2. Citation needed."

Is there a website that strips Wikipedia links of the brackets, images, and possibly hyperlinks?

Perhaps my best option would be to format the pages manually and upload them, which is not ideal but can get me through the next few days.

The print version could work maybe?

Thanks for the suggestion, detaro! I tried it out, and it seems like it can only print on my laptop or phone. It does remove hyperlinks, but retains brackets, images and hm.. what I could best describe as markup. It does remove hyperlinks, which is nice!
