i've started using aider with https://aider.chat/docs/usage/watch.html works great and you can keep using jetbrains IDEs

- tool to analyze and explore unity3d build size reports

- tool to manage examples dataset for another ai application

- macos transcribe app that allows me to hotkey to speak to notion page, with a little status bar menu to select pages

All relatively trivial but I'd never bother to create them manually

Building transcription app that lets me dictate notes to notion.

Doint a lot of exploratory work for my day job and trying to establish practice of good documentation so i hope being able to ramble as i work will make this easier.

At this point it's simple macos flutter app that toggles recording on global keyboard shortcut.

For my use cases: web development with python, c#, react and unity3d extension development. Claude is significantly better.

I switched over few months ago and still test GPT from time to time, Claude wins every time

do you pay for the pro plan?

yes i still pay for both

Do you get the message limit often? Anthropic seems quite limited compared to OpenAI's unlimited messaging

The API is a lot better.

Not really and I use it all day, I tend to have a lot of short chats and don't paste ton of context in

Find a company that does things you are interested in that is also hiring people with your skills (webdev?). Get a job there as backend Dev and after a while ask to transfer internally into role that's more interesting. Before you can ask for the transfer hang out and learn from people that do thee job you want

I'd highly recommend a course by Andrej Karpathy: https://karpathy.ai/zero-to-hero.html

some of it is probably just for fun while playing with openai api
