UI style guides are also helpful. Here's an example of Readernaut's: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sketch22/4044799031/sizes/o/

I really like this.

This guy is neither an economist nor a lawyer, why should I listen to him?

Why do you think you should listen to economists?

"Economics is the social science that studies the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services."

Actionscript 3 isn't that bad.

Compared to javascript though? (that's the point after all). I definitely prefer javascript to as3.

Compared to javascript, yes. True class-based inheritance, optional strict typing, getter setters, and methods and closures retain class scope. What's not to like? Null-reference errors?

as2 was sweet though. Object.watch and __resolve() were a lot of fun to work with.

You can use the Proxy object to do similar things to __resolve(), but it's slightly less flexible as you have to extend the class.

Is this a joke?

It's entrepreneurial at the least. Doomed to fail imho, why would I pay for (if you want to use it without a linkback) a CSS/HTML framework, when there are already many free versions clamouring for my attention?

Links please. I'm interested to hear of other projects like this, where you get HTML + CSS + JS all ready to customize. 960, Blueprint, and YUI aren't quite the same. This is a front-end starter package, not just another grid system IMHO.

The template language isn't for you.

Which is why, given the choice, I would use something more like Mako.

They've basically created nested flatpages and added some UI. This should be called "nested-flatpages" and distributed as an app rather than a "CMS".
