I worked on WebTV at a major television network. While I do have wonderful memories of the time I worked there, in the back of my mind I always wondered, "Who would use this?". Coding for it was essentially coding for a limited browser with a special tag for where the "TV" would go.
I'm an experienced software architect and lead developer possessing decades of experience in implementing high profile software projects for network television, a Fortune 500 financial services corporation, and a large e-commerce site.
I'm currently migrating a monolith application that I helped start over 15 years ago into a series of microservices. I would love to work in interesting technologies (e.g. I'm pushing for a functional language for the next microservice).

There’s a small scale IKEA already in NYC. It’s situated uptown in a relatively high priced area and likely because of that, somehow the furniture and decor looks much nicer. I think it’s the same furniture but somehow through some well planed interior design it just looks nicer.
