Rolling deployment techniques such as Canary Release allow you to gradually deploy new features in production in parallel of the older version. It allows you to easily monitor the good behavior of its release and to quickly rollback the new features if any issue arise, or on the other hand it allows you to gradually increase the percentage of traffic redirected to the new version if everything is going great.
