This is a great idea. There's a lot of possibilities in tools/services which allow creators to monetize easily. Do you think there is an opportunity to allow sharing outside of Instagram? I.e licensing photos for use in articles, blogs, etc? Or is part of the advantage here that Instagram is a walled garden of sorts, where it's more difficult to steal a user's image?

> Do you think there is an opportunity to allow sharing outside of Instagram?

Absolutely. Although I think there is some power, at least initially, in focusing just on an Instagram specific license. But in the future 100% we'd love to add more license options for more traditional use cases

Yeah, I wrote something that stores data to Flickr last summer: https://github.com/namwen/hoardr . I kind of had a reason but it was more for the enjoyment of getting it to work.

There is also hyperglobalmegastore https://github.com/adrian-bl/hyperglobalmegastore All data is encrypted and you can even mount your flickr 'drive' using fuse.

This project needs more stars!

Until this gets so popular that Google or Flickr start to analyse photos, and come to the conclusion to either delete those photos and videos, or to convert them and destroying the data for you. Then, years later, you need your backup and ....

When I was younger, one of my dad's best friends was a hacker / electrical engineer who worked primarily with Moogs. He would service Moogs for very well known musicians if they were in the area, but was more well known for his modifications. I remember one story my dad would tell about some new keyboard they released, and within a few days he had modified it to makes hundreds more sounds than it was already capable of. Cool guy.

21 meals is supposed to be a weeks supply.

Are you at all considering hiring interns for the upcoming summer?

We've pondered this a lot and have decided this Summer will be a little early for us to be set up for internship positions. I'm hoping we might do it next Summer!

What if the intern acted as though it was full-time? I'm asking because I would be interested in applying for this summer. I know you're not looking, but I think I could really make an impact.

Seems to be entirely different photography from the comps to the finals.

They are from the same shoot; unless the author is claiming credit for that.

I believe it has to do with the likelihood that you'll be able to sell? Some exchanges have a lot more users.

This is the exact reason I dropped Calc this semester. My math background already sucks and I fucked up early and fell behind fast. Makes more sense to not fail and learn on my own before trying again.

Get back into that shit next semester, no excuses.

You're a freshman, I take it? If you start giving up on shit as "too hard" now, everything's going to be too hard in the future. Learning only gets harder when you get older. If you need to enroll in a more remedial class first, fine, but don't waste your and your parents' money by avoiding classes that are "too hard" for four years of college. You are what you repeatedly do.

Not a freshman but a transfer student. I'm absolutely taking it again as soon as possible. In the meantime I'm going to keep attending the lectures for no credit and learn on my own through Khan Academy. I'm actually confident I can complete the course fine, but I was distracted with other things when the course started and missed some important grades. Thanks for the advice.

"Today, some $29. 6 billion in smartphone cases are sold every year."

Really? No way. I'd be amazed if this was a correct figure.

If you read further you'll see that as of now they've handled over 700k in transactions.
