I haven't played with Paulstretch, but it looks similar to what Tom Erbe's "Soundhack" program did (windowed FFT with overlap add resynthesis). Soundhack was originally written in the late 90's and was used by the sound designers of The Matrix.. anyhow. Soundhack is now defunct, but Tom released the source and I ported the time stretching bit of the software to Go if anyone's interested: https://github.com/corporealfunk/gopvoc
This has happened to me too, but in my case the Google account that I lost access to is the admin account of a Google Adsense publisher account. For some reason I don't receive the 2FA code to my phone, though I do know the recovery email address and the password. I don't log into the Adsense account a lot, it's a small amount of revenue, enough to cover some DO droplets every month. Given that I don't log in a lot, between my last login and first getting locked out, I had switched ISPs and switched my main browser to FF from Chrome, and even erased all my old Chrome data. So, new IP, and no cookies/fingerprint, not getting the 2FA codes... lock out! No recourse. No person to ask.
What's more funny is that I figured, well, I'll just create a new Google account and sign up for Adsense again for my domain with the new account. Turns out you can't do that because the domain for the Adsense account "is already in use by another Adsense account".
Sue them in small claims court, it's cheap and it sends a message. Worth it for the satisfaction even if the Adsense revenue they scammed from you is less than the (small) filing fee...
Nothing wrong with painting. For anyone wanting to (re-)connect with creativity and expression, I recommend picking up a copy of "Life, Paint and Passion".
When I was in college (almost 20 years ago), I was studying music (piano and electronic music/synthesis) which involved many hours at both a piano keyboard and computer keyboard. In my junior year I had intense pain in my wrists and had to ask my CS profs and music profs for extra time to complete assignments. They obliged, and it took about a year of visiting several PTs, doctors and finally a body worker trained in PT to resolve it. She knew that my pain was "referred" pain from nerve issues in my arms and torso (caused of course by bad ergonomics). The wrists were not damaged, only "feeling" the pain from nerves further up the arms that had become constricted. Through simple stretches and good desk ergonomics I have been pain free since.
I highly recommend the book "Comfort at Your Computer: Body Awareness Training for Pain-Free Computer Use" by Paul Linden. Also "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook" for info on referred pain and self massage techniques to help alleviate it.
I thank "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook" and the PT that recommended it to me for finally breaking the cycle and beginning my recovery after 6 years of severe RSI. Learning about trigger points have also helped me self-treat my chronic neck pain and various other aches and pains. I can't recommend it enough.
