Seems that ScyllaDB takes advantage of https://seastar.io that shards across cores. It seems to still be open source (for the moment, at least). Wonder if other projects could benefit from its ideas.

Can this plugin work for Chrome on Android? Does anyone have a recommendation for bookmarking and/or webclips on Android?

Unrelated to json, but a Rails commit by you 2024-10-29: ActiveModel::Type::Integer#serialize 3.17x - 9.67x faster!

Very clearly written, though storing files directly in the database (rather than just the filename/path) isn't necessarily the best idea, but I guess it works for them for now..

The files aren’t stored in the database. This is just a record of a download. Things like ip, user agent, which episode, etc.

Will Kim Jong Un do this?

I want to support this idea, though If you use their service it's free to play around with 3 feeds, but then it gets more pricey. Maybe worth it for some?https://www.pipes.digital/pricing

Three free pipes sound reasonable for me. If you have more than three use cases in your life, then it's perhaps worth it to pay a few bucks.

A canister of hydrogen in your car isn't exactly safe, either!!

I saw a link to this company posted on X and wonder if it's authentic (it seems like it). It's a service that apparently listens on your devices for you to say keywords/phrases and sells that information to advertisers - who then target you with ads. Is this legal? It seems to claim it is.. Can anything be done about this? We need stronger privacy laws, it seems.
